Staying Healthy at the Office

Using your internet is a great way to find tips on staying healthy but don’t forget to get offline every once in a while. In a digital world people are spending too much time in front of screens and not outside, particularly while at work, so heed our tips for staying healthy when your job requires you sit and stare all day.
Take Breaks – It’s a good idea both for your body and your productivity to take frequent short breaks. If you don’t have a lunch hour you should take ten minute breaks at least every three hours and use them to get up and walk around.
Get Outside – If you’ve got a chance during the day whether it’s during a coffee break or your lunch hour, get outside. It doesn’t matter if it’s too hot or cold, the Vitamin D and sunshine will help your body produce endorphins and leave you refreshed.
Skip the Snacks – It’s tempting when you’re sitting at a desk all day to eat far too many snacks but this can be detrimental to your diet. Eat one square lunch and breakfast and if you must snack, keep fresh fruit nearby.
